Hi. While using facetime, i got a message to say i had used 80% of my data. 3 hours later (long catch up), still on facetime, i get a message to say i have used all my data. How can this ne when i was in the house using my wi-fi?

Thanks for the Apple clarification @MI5@- not my forte, Apple.

 

Shame to find it was already off though, I guess Apple does not have the two little transfer indicators next to the WiFi logo in the Status bar that my OP3T has. Also the 4G characters disappear from the Mobile signal icon for me when WiFi is in use for data.

 

Half of getting on with your mobile device is knowing its little tells, @Daffy@...Handshake

Hope you have not got long to wait for your next injection of Mobile data quota.

Different indicators on Apple completely but if using WiFi assist you will just see the 4g icon.
