Hi I have an Apple Watch series 5 and trying to set up the data plan from the watch app. I log in to o2 and it states to choose a plan but nothing is loaded below so can’t select anything. It has been doing this for three days now and the guru said to keep trying! Not great customer service and they couldn’t tell me how long it would keep doing this for. Don’t know what to do now other than cancel my o2 contract and go elsewhere with my three contracts.

Hi @Sam14

I haven't got an Apple watch so can't advise you on this, unfortunately.

Did you speak to customer services or just use live chat? I ask, as speaking directly to someone would be your best bet. Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Or, if you have an O2 shop near you, it may be an idea to let them take a look?

Anyway, best of luck with it and welcome to the forum Welcome

Thank you. I had an online chat to the guru. I will pop into the shop today. Although our local shop weren’t much help previously when I asked about the Apple Watch as they said it only works if I purchase from o2!

@Sam14

I have just checked another thread where someone was having slightly different problems to you with the same watch.

I'll give you the link so you can have a read of it. https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple/Apple-Watch-Series-5-Error-Code-30-issue/td-p/1257172

Regardless of the issue, they did require a lot of help from customer services in getting it sorted.

Thank you! Seems o2 are the only provider that seem to have difficulty with this process. I am going to the shop this morning so let’s see how I get on! Thanks for all your help.

@Sam14

Have you tried resetting the watch and starting again?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
