Could someone please clarify if whilst using my phone on a cruise ship travelling the Norwegian coast that I can use it as if in the UK? I read the O2 advice section on this and it stated if on a cruise and connected to the ships Wi-Fi that I would be charged £3 a minute for making calls. Is this for cruises outside of Europe or all cruise ships? Would be grateful if someone could clarify, many thanks, Stuart

Please bear in mind that Norway is not in the EU :-

But it is part of the EEA (European Economic Area) and as such is part of the EU regulations, it is even part of Schengen Area, so for all in tense and purposes its part of the EU..
lets not try and confuse the Op, as for the rules on EU roaming it is included..
All you need to know is that Norway, and all EEA countries are covered on Pay Monthly for Roaming.. (excluding British Crown Dependencies).
