Changing Pay Monthly Tariff

Hello, I currently pay £37.99 p/m for a Galaxy S4, unlimited texts and calls, 1GB data.

Is it at all possible to change the tariff to one that is being offered on the o2 store for £38 p/m but instead with 5GB data, or am I stuck with my current one? I have had the contract since June last year, the offer I am referring to is linked at https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/refreshTariffs/samsung/galaxy-s4-black-mist/. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

If you call O2 on 202 they will advise you officially on what you can opt for.

Maybe Speak to them about speed to refresh

Thank you, I tried calling them before they close at 9pm but the closest option I could get is to upgrade my phone, will they transfer me to the correct people if I go through to the wrong department, I don't want to be stuck without a clue.

They will talk you through what is open to choose from.

Sorry to bother you again, but I don't want to refresh my contract altogether, I just want to change my current tariff. Should I still give 202 a call for this?

Ok and yes speak to them to see what's available to you.

The only thing you cannot do is downgrade your tariff

If you look in your "My O2" and click on change my tariff it will tell you what you can change to.
Unfortunately I don't think you'll get the 5Gb 4G tariff for the same price but you may be able to upgrade to it for £5 a month extra.
