Hi

I have two mobiles (A and B) in my name on pay monthly contracts with o2. I want to change one mobile (B) to my wife. She now has a new pay monthly o2 sim and wants to keep the number on mobile B. What is the best way to transfer mobile B number from me (cancel my contract) to my wife's new sim.

Thanks

GGP

@GGP

You just need to call O2 (with your wife present) to migrate the number to the new account in your wife's name.

This will automatically cancel the old contract.

If you cancel prior to this you may lose the number completely Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@GGPHow to cancel here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract. Once all monies due on that contract have been paid, then your wife can put her O2 sim into the phone and use it.

If you need any help you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help
