You need to contact O2.

Dear Sanmala

Hi I am having the same problem, since yesterday - 21/2/2024 when O2 sim changed to my old EE  Number - I cannot receive calls/texts or otp's.

I have been calling Customer service- 5 times today and they all suggested different things, now referred to tech...and probably get a new sim sent  to me like you...

Did you get this problem solved - or do I change to another operator.

My partner changed to Vodafone and kept his number and DID not have this problem!

I am critical care worker so this is giving me a major headache.

Sabina

Using a PAC to move between networks is supposed to be easy, but there are a number of ways it can go wrong.

It can also take up to 48 hours for everything to settle down and will require rebooting your phone several times @Sabina1

If you are having issues then try chatting to o2 on social media - Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

@Sabina1

If that question was asked of @Sanmala, you need to tag her thus. However, this thread is eleven months old, so you might not get a reply.

Could I suggest that you follow the advice that @MI5 gave above ? The social media team at O2 is well thought of and @MI5 has detailed how to contact them.
