Cancelling a sim only contract

Hello I phoned and cancelled a sim only contract yesterday by phone but have had no email communication to confirm this.  I cannot find an email address anywhere on their site - do I have to write a letter to make sure it is cancelled - seems mad not to be able to email a communications company!  Thank you for your help 😊
