Hello O2 Community.
On August 29th, I purchased a device (Apple watch) in a pay monthly device plan (CCA), upon which I gave an upfront of 30 pounds and a deposit of 175 pounds. I choose to collect the device in an O2 store. When I got in the store, I was informed that I could not collet the device since my passport is not from the UK/EU and I don't have a UK driver's license. This is the most stupid thing that I have ever seen in my life. This is, at least, racist.
So, the only way to get the device is to get it delivered to my flat, and in order to do that, I had to wait for the O2 to cancel my order and my device plan. The order was cancelled on 08/08/2022, and my upfront payment of 30 pounds was given me back, however, my deposit of 175 was not. Today was the last day of the 3-5 working days period to solve my problem, and I didn't get my refund. In addition, I cannot buy a new device plan to deliver to my flat, since on the O2 website, my device plan is still online and consequently the system cannot give me a new contract.
I just waiting to see how long it will take to o2 solve my problem, or if I will need to take legal action against the company.
That is abusurd.
