Cancelling Contract?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I am giving my 30 days notice to cancel my contract on the 11th Nov., as my contract ends on the 11th Dec.

What happens afterwards? Do I cancel the direct debit from 11th Dec. also?

Plus I want to keep this number but I will be taking out a completely new contract. So how do I do that?

Earlier today you mentioned the words 'franchise store'.

Are O2 shops not actually owned by O2 Telefonica?

Some are O2 owned and some are franchised....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Not sure if it makes any difference but I assume franchised stores will be more pushy in terms of meeting sales targets which might explain why this store in question was trying to talk the customer into cancelling a contract needlessly to take out another one.
