I wish to cancel my O2 account . I am not on a contract , but pay approx £10.00 per month.

I have just cancelled my Direct Debit with the bank, but where do I cancel the phone number I do not wish to keep it.

Just stop using it and it will expire after 6 months.

Ring customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus was it an auto topup payg account ?

You are using auto top up I expect so if you have cancelled that you just need to ring O2 on 4445...
