Then you will default on the last payment and have a poor credit rating. You need to follow the correct process

@Gordon DO NOT cancel your Direct Debit without following the proper procedure as set out in the guide above. If you don't follow what you've been told, you will incur a negative mark on your credit rating, and you won't be able to get a contract with any mobile phone provider, or get credit for anything else you might want to purchase.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
