Last week my wifes phone came due for an upgrade at the end of the 24 month contract so we went to the O2 shop chose a phone and signed a new contract, at the time the sales assistant asked if I wanted insurance which I declined as always.
When we got home I was just looking through her section of MyO2 when I noticed 'Extras' of £10 on her previous bill and when I checked I discovered £7.50 + 6% tax of the £10 was for O2 Insure Premier Monthly which I had declined when offered. Upon checking further I discovered it was still in place on the new contract!!
I know I should have maybe checked sooner but really why should I have to, f I say I don't want something they shouldn't charge for it surely? I have two phones in my name on O2 and why would I have one insured and not the other!!
This comes after being charged over £300 for data that I never used last year, seriously folks check your bill.

I'd call it a bit more than cheeky, perhaps theft or obtaining money under false pretences , it adds up to almost £200
...and now the online support chat is trying to fob me off that I'll have to go back to the O2 store and get the refund from them, it's a joke!
