I've recently switched from Vodafone to O2, however my data speed and 4g/5g availability is diabolical. Before I switched to O2 I carried out the coverage checker for both my home and work address and it said it is fine but this is not the case!
Why is my data and coverage so poor? Also I never encountered these problems whilst I was on Vodafone.

Simply because O2 is crap in your area.
Coverage maps are best guesses and should not be relied on. We always advise checking with a PAYG sim first.
