Has anyone ever had an issue with O2 refusing to set up a cellular plan for an Apple Watch purchased direct from the manufacturer?
For 4 months I have gone through hell trying to get a plan set up and my watch configured so that it does not need to be within close range of my phone.
I have now been told that O2 “policy” does not permit a data plan to be set up for an Apple Watch O2 has not supplied - yet they have seemingly set up an account (with a number allocated to my watch) that I am unlikely to be able to use properly.
i cannot see how O2 can possibly impose such restrictions on customers - indeed I would imagine that Apple would have something to say about this

It's their standard excuse for systemic system failures.
It is possible but O2 are so useless they are incapable of fixing the issue.

Complete rubbish
There is no such policy, merely advisers who have no idea and want to pass the problem onto the next adviser you call
I don't have an answer other than try the social media team on the links below
