Add extra number

Is it possible to add an extra number to my phone contract using just one phone

Yes you do this by going to My O2 and Bring in Products

What about if the number is not currently in O2. Basically I have a new O2 contract and phone. I have brought in one number from a different provider and wonder if I can bring in another number from another provider to the same phone, thus saving me the need to have two phones?

It is possible if you ave a dual sim phone.

Many phones these days have that ability.

Which is dual sim. However on a previous post you said you had one number and brought in another from a different provider? (Unless I misunderstood)

OK, so you need to change one number to an esim and have the other number as a physical sim.

You can then have two numbers on one phone.

The get an eSim you need to ask O2 Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support or pop into your local O2 store.
