Hello, I made a payment of £67.40 to my account to cover extra charges from usage this month. I went to the “Make a payment” section of the app and from there I selected “Pay unbilled”. The payment was successful, it went through. Does this mean that the £67.40 of extra charges won’t appear on my next bill?
This for my mobile number, I pay the bill for it, but it’s in my mum’s name. That’s because I’ve had the number since I was a child.
I am assuming that because I paid the unbilled amount of £67.70 that I’ll just be charged the amount for my monthly tariff? I pay £13.04 a month for the data I get, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts.

It’s now showing on the account as £67.40 in credit, the next bill is made in just over a week, on 16th July.
I would appreciate an explanation to my queries, I have autism (a learning disability).

Because I’ve paid the extra charges for usage this month of £67.40 I wouldn’t expect to be charged again for that amount.

@Anonymous
That is how it should workk but confirm the payment has gone through with sufficient time before the DD is taken.

Bills are always generated on the 16th of every month and then payments are taken on the 30th (roughly).

Perfectly fine then @Anonymous

That’s good then.
I just wanted to do the payment so I don’t get a gigantic bill 🧾 when it’s generated on the 16th. I didn’t want those extra charges to appear.
Before I posted on this forum, I was hoping I didn’t make a huge mistake by making the payment. When I made the payment, I was thinking I hope I won’t be charged that amount twice when the bill is generated, £67.40.
