83201 Text Reservation??

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi there,

Im a Pay monthly customer of many years. Just had a random text from 83201 saying that 'your reservation (lots of numbers) for an Apple Iphone 5c has been created'

Thats nothing of my doing, so i rang 202 instantly smelling a hoax & the excellent 02 advisor reassured me that nothing suspicious is on order on my account.

Anyway ive changed password, may i ask has anyone had this message?

Thanks

It's unsettling when something like this happens.

I'm hoping all will be fine.

Take care.

It would be showing as an order in your My O2 by now if it was genuine.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Call Customer Services on 202 and also report the text to 7726 as although it can look like an o2 number it can be spoofed.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
