30 Mobile Broadband contract - Roaming

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I have a 30 day mobile broadband contract and was wondering whether it will work in Trinidad as travelling for 2 months. Do I need to call O2 to activate roaming or will it automatically work. Also is it better to use a PAYG mobile contract (not sure they exist) to avoid any large bills?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

O2 will charge you £6 per mb http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/travelling_abroad so you would be better off with a local data sim or just restrict yourself to wifi only.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You could use available Wifi when and where you can.

http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/o2-mobile-broadband-pay-and-go-consumer-tariff-terms Says for uk use only.

Don't even take the sim with you, or remove it as soon as you leave the UK.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
