02 Refresh Upgrade Question

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am thinking about spoiling myself for Christmas and upgrading on 02 refresh to a nice shiny new phone. I do have one question though. Because i am not quite at the end of my contract yet it says i have to pay £xxx then whatever the cost of the phone/Contract comes to. Is the £xxx payable now or is it payable on the next mobile phone bill? That is what i am confused about!

From the T&C's:

How do I pay to Speed to Refresh?
When you're ready to upgrade you can pay this at the same time using a debit or credit card. It's a one off, non refundable charge. To find out how much you would need to pay, text UPGRADE to 21602 or go to o2.co.uk/myo2. Its your monthly subscription amount multiplied by the number of months left in your contract less 25% that we chip in for you.

As far as I understand it you have to pay the speed to refresh price up front and the new phone cost and tariff on next bill apart from any upfront cost for the phone
