Hello, new here but O2 user since 1994 (same number too, only mentioned to evidence how antediluvian I am).

I pay £30 a month principally for the data roaming in Europe but I cannot get Wi-Fi calling on my iPhone 11 Pro. It’s offered in the mobile data menu but says ‘contact O2’… I’ve tried calling - useless- texting- useless so given up.

is this because I am on pay as you go? I don’t have a mobile signal at my home and want to be able to access emergency services using Wi-Fi calling.

thank you, Ez

It says in the FAQs here that PAYG customers are getting 4G and WiFi calling by the end of the year.

The last we knew wifi calling is not available on PAYG

Having said that 5G wasn't available until recently so O2 may be implementing it soon?
