Topped up twice, didnt get any data

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before I'm new. 
i was running out of data a couple of days ago so I topped up £10 and just yesterday i was told that i didnt have any data and i needed it pretth badly so i decided to just top up and check it out later so I put another 10 quid on and it still gave me nothing

Your data won't renew until your anniversary date

If you need data before that you need to buy a bolt on
