Does topping up by your phone actually work? 've tried to top up a PAYG SIM by debit card and it refuses to do so.
It indicates to try another card, which I did using three different credit cards and each time I get the same stupid error message.
I have had this problem before and usually end up having to resort to buying the top up at a newsagents and going through the process of inputting the long number on the receipt.
I'm thinking of ditching the O2 SIM as with Vodafone I just use the app without any problems.
Any suggestions would be welcome

Yes top up by phone does work. You need to have registered your card first. Try again tomorrow in case there is a glitch in the system.
Give O2 a call on 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)
