Could anyone show me the steps to switch off O2 advertising texts that keep arriving?  Also, despite having switched off my answer service, deleting all messages and doing a factory reset I cannot get rid of  the icon and reminder that I have a message!  Does anyone have any suggestions?  TIA

@Carol8

You need to change your marketing preferences in your MyO2 to stop the third party and advertising texts.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

To get rid of the icon you would need to call yourself from another phone and leave a message. From your phone, listen to the message and delete it. That should clear the icon @Carol8.
