Trying to top up my credit with @O2 but it won’t let me. Tried 2 different cards. Tried calling 4444 and via the app. Even tried to dm them on Twitter and it’s saying message failed to send. Anyone else having problems?

If it's your first top up you need to use a voucher.

Topping up
The easiest way to top up is through My O2.

Simply sign in and select ‘Top up your phone’, then choose how much you’d like to top up.

To top up using a debit or credit card, it’ll need to be from a UK bank and registered to a UK address. You can only top up in pounds, not pence, and top-ups start at £10.

Check out the other ways to top up your phone.

If you have any other questions about topping up your Pay As You Go account:

Contact us via Live Chat
Call 4445 free from your mobile
Call 0344 809 0222 from any other phone (standard rates apply)

Alternatively you can topup via a voucher which you can purchase from an O2 store and most supermarkets convenience stores.

Hope this helps.

Possibly a system running an update at the time you tried.

Have you tried again today?

Then you will need to use a voucher to top up, or go instore as the shops are open.

Other than that you could call O2 and tell them you cant top up through the auto service. Try 4445 first. If no luck with that, use any of the numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support .

I would go with a voucher then as advised previously even though it's not your first top up.
