My phone is only used for emergencies and occasional photos (which I transfer to my laptop. It is hardly ever used for calls, texts, emails etc. Why do I keep running out of money?

You need to turn off mobile data completely or you will be charged for connections in the background as apps update etc.

@elgnarc

Bundles only last for 30 days then a further top up is required to renew your allowances.

Big Bundles | Help & Support | O2

O2 isn't suitable for very low users, you would be better off looking at giffgaff or 1pmobile but all have a minimum spend requirement.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
