O2 has stopped accepting Starling

Hi, I have been a PAYG customer for a couple of years, topping up £10 month every month using my Starling account. Starling have recently replaced my debit card as it came to its expiry date and ever since then O2 refuses to accept payment from it. Starling says it's not at their end. O2 don't want anything to do with it and simply expect payment from a different card. Does anyone have any advice? I'm at the point of changing providers if I can't get this sorted in the next few days.

@Sean12345 Doesn't sound promising if O2 are refusing to accept your payment method. Pay & Go customer service is 4445. Also take a look here: How to Top Up (PAYG) - O2 Community

Not sure if it would be of any help but the Payment Management Team number is 0800 902 0217.

The opening times are:

Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm

Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

If O2 doesn't want to play ball you'll have no choice but to switch providers or find another method of payment.

Thanks. It doesn't solve my problem which is that they always took my Starling card, now they won't and they don't want to know.

If, as you say @Sean12345 , O2 doesn't want to know, then you've answered your own question: PAC code (o2.co.uk)

Has the first 6 digits of the card changed, as I am hoping that Starling haven't changed to a different Card Range.

What error do you get when trying to top up?

As what you can do is ask o2 to do a transaction trace, and provide that to Starling, and then ask them to investigate further..

I topped up my Classic account with a Starling card on Monday just gone, incidentally a card I had never used before

Just to make sure the card is active and ready for use overseas, so not sure why your card isn't being accepted

My Starling is a brand new account so obviously it's a new card too
