Hello all,
Writing here in absolute despair.
I requested to transfer my number from Vodafone onto the O2 on Monday 7 Dec. Number port scheduled for Tue 8th. On Tue I got disconnected from Vodafone and my number got partially transferred onto the o2 sim (I was able to receive calls/texts but wasn't able to make/send them). I reported the issue to the o2 customer services and was promised that it'd be fixed in 24 hours.
Next day - nothing fixed, same thing - able to receive calls, unable to make them. Since then I've been calling the customer services every day, the operators on the line unable to explain what's going on and promise a call back. Then I never hear from them again.
Today (Friday) the phone stopped working, and it says the sim card not recognised. So I completely lost my number which is hurting my work every day.
Is there any way to escalate the problem so someone in there can fix it? I'm completely bemused that the customer service is ignoring my pleas for help.
