Hi there,

I'm leaving O2 pay-as-you go. Do I need to do anything? I top up monthly, so I'll have a zero balance shortly after I no longer need my O2 sim. Sounds like they just deactivate the sim in 6 months, but I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone to confirm.

Thanks!

If you don't want the number anymore just bin the sim and it will be switched off after 6 months.

Remember to cancel auto top up if you have it set.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
