I have a sim card in a wifi router on a boat 200 miles away which I use with a surveillance camera.
I buy data each month but I have just tried to log into the account and it is advising me that as additional security it has sent a code in a text message to the phone but the sim card is not in a phone so I have no way to verify the code it has sent and therefore cannot buy any more data.

It's a new brilliant security feature !
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks
