Credit balance

I sent 1tx on my Doro 8030 and balance came up £9.50 sent2more tx ! No balance was shown so I checked my self and balance was £7.90.my internet connection is off can anybody please help ?

It could depend on what number you sent the texts to?
International or some short codes and premium rates cost more to text.

It shouldn't be. Two messages at a cost of £1. 60. You'll have to check my maths, my head isn't working as it should.

I can't think of any scenarios where a text would cost 80p. Maybe customer service can clarify if the credit was £9.50 before the texts.
