£5 Big Bundle

Hello, one of my phones has £5 Big Bundle with unlimited calls and unlimited texts, but sometimes, like today when my £5 Big Bundle renewed, I get a text saying I will be getting free 1000 texts and 1000 mins of calls to last until the end of the month on top of my usual Big Bundle. But what is the point of this offer as I'm already getting unlimited mins and texts with £5 Big Bundle.

It doesn't really benefit me? Is this an oversight on O2's part when dishing out free offers?

Unlimited used to be 1000 mins and texts so seems like still some old code in the system somewhere.
