o2 wifi - cant connect

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello!

First of all, Im sorry if I am writing in a wrong place but I just could not find a better one.

I live in Wakefield at the moment and I wanted to use the free o2 wifi. According to all information that I found on the page, it should be as simple as just signing in, connecting to the network and opening the browser. The problem is that I can not connect to the network. To be exact, I am connected to the network but then an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle appears which says there there is no connection to the internet. When I open firefox/internet explore/chrome nothing happens.

Im trying to connect with my laptop (with w7) on which I also have o2 connection manager with Huawei e173

P.S. Sorry for my english, it's my first time in the UK.

What should I do to connect to o2 wifi?

Greetings,

Maciek

The wifi hotspot is either not an open one available for public use is is not connected to a router. You can check the hotspots you can use and sign up here http://o2wifi.co.uk/
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
