need old number back

hello my 02 phone i have used for like 15 years broke like 2 years ago so i started using my aunties vodaphone spare phone she has (which im logged into now) the problem is that recently my computer broke and i lost access to my main email which is linked to that old number, i still have the sim but when i put it in there is no service is there anyway i can get it back?
