It's a very busy time of year @Anonymous, and not a great time of day to try to call. Best chance of getting through without a long wait is between 8 and 8:30 am.
If your query isn't account related, maybe someone here on the forum can help.

I had a problem trying to contact them yesterday. Being in Thailand with a 7 hour time difference means my preferred method of contact is the live chat team with a 50-50 chance of getting issues resolved. I will try again later today but to be honest it's only to downgrade my tariff so I can just as easily do it online.

Usually it's all down to the TIME you make the call or instigate live chat. My contact with O2 went very well yesterday. 8.13 am and job done by 8.30am.

Bare in mind we are in the middle of the Xmas break so most businesses including call centres are running on lower staff numbers, due to holidays...
Normal service will resume on the 3Rd Jan I'm sure...
@MI5 I have never waited more than 5minutes at all times of day to get through to Cs in the last 6months for my own number
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I have found it impossible to change tariff either on the website (continually looping and saying the order isn't associated with my account), chat or on the phone. I waited 30 minutes trying to call today and this was early morning. I gave up and I have posted screenshots on another thread (?) of delays waiting for live chat to be available. I'm not in a hurry, the offers are until February 1st, but I get so frustrated trying.

Mmmmmm...must be closing down early for New Year? I only say this as I just had a text from my lad saying 'Finishing at 12 md.". He fully expected to be working till 5.30pm....
