Why do I still keep receiving texts from O2?

Anonymous

I have opted out of receiving messages from O2, but keep receiving them.
Why the hell won't you o2 me alone!?
I'm getting really annoyed about it & if I have to ring up - someone is going to get shouted/ranted at........

Checked all my settings again & couldn't see anything that needed changing.
So ended up speaking to someone in customer services via webchat & hopefully all sorted now!

If you call and shout and rant they will just hang up on you. They aren't being paid to be verbally abused. You'll get much further and have a more satisfactory result if you do it calmly.

Check all the contact settings in "My O2".
Also other areas you may have asked for updates such as 4G roll out, Priority Moments etc.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

This is a customer to customer forum. No one can help you with your problem here. You need to ring Customer Service on 202 from your mobile if you're Pay Monthly, or 4445 if you're Pay & Go.
