Visual voicemail won't work- says I have a voicemail but won't let me play it & notification won't go away.
I have tried turning it off, resetting network settings and turning it back on but still doesn't work.
I have an iPhone 6 with most up to date settings so that's not the problem.
Really infuriating, any advice?

Do you have the correct Idata bolt on in my O2 and not the standard data bolt on?

Try leaving yourself a voicemail, listen to it then delete it and see if it clears the fault.

Is Visual Voicemail still only supported for Contract phones @MI5 ? Just asking as the OP doesn't say whether they are contract or PAYG?

Yes it is, as it requires the iData apn which is only available on contract.

Already tried 1760 & tried leaving myself one and that still hasn't worked- I can see that I have a voicemail but it just won't let me play it at all! What is the data bolt on thing sorry? Confused by that comment so could be that?

Its an idata bolt on. You need to add it either via MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

or by phoning customer services...http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

By the way are you on contract?

Try switching the phone off and dialling it from a landline. It should give you the option of listening and deleting it. You will be prompted to create a 4 digit pin. Default pin if you need it is 8705.

Call customer service and make sure you have the correct Idata bolt on.
