I once thought o2 was a good network but I am thinking the opersit now because it use to be when you forget your voicemail pin you just have to phone customer service to reset it but not anymore you now have to send RESET to a number but you the thing is you don't get a anything with a new voicemail pin so they now have a new way to reset your voicemail pin that does not work at all. So now I can't wait till the end of next year when my contract comes to an end so I can leave o2 and move to another network.
Solved! Go to Solution.

That's a new one - seems the Guide: All you need to know about O2 Voicemail 901 needs an update, if so... Good catch, @Luke30 - seems this is the way: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/digital-services/voicemail
And possibly caught by the OTP bug - have you disabled VoWiFi on your phone before asking for the PIN to be sent? Or the SMS to Short-codes thing, not sure which.
But a test shows it is working, despite the chargeable SMS warning:
So it goes 🤐
You get sent a new PIN if you lock your mailbox too, @Luke30 - presuming your phone receives any SMS containing an OTP at all...
If you reach out to O2 on Social Media, links below this, @Luke30, they know now how to fix your SMS receiving problem, and you'll be back up and running both SMS as well as Voicemail-wise 👍
Good luck!
