I was sent an 02 sim when I renewed virgin media I was confused with all the information being given at the time and didn’t understand that I was going to be paying monthly for the sim I am already in a contract with another company for a phone and do not want another how do I stop the 02 one

You need to contact Virgin, as they will need to sort out the contract on there side, as you have agreed to the Volt Contract, as they will also downgrade your VM contract from the Volt service to a normal contract.

What about if I want to cancel my old contract and use the new sim?

@Jibbly I assume you want to use the O2 SIM you got through Virgin.

If you already have an O2 SIM and want to move the number across then it is possible to migrate it.

If the number is with another network you will first need to get a PAC code from them

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
