Hello,

I will be travelling to the USA shortly and i'm quite confused at the travel bolt ons.

I will use the occasional text message and wont use calls/data. Is there any bolt ons for texts in the usa?

Thanks

Sorry, nothing available for the USA.
O2 travel is for Europe only.
USA rates here http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/travelling_abroad

Using a local sim is probably not viable for your limited usage (as indicated), but you could use whatsapp, or BBM etc over WiFi where available?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi

If In contract you could use Tugo or a local SIM card if your phone is unlocked.

" O2 will automatically cap your data usage to £40 (50 MB) a month whilst you're abroad"

They do but you have the option to extent it beyond that if you wish (details on my link above).
