Re: The packages offered on the Volt page can anyone explain the difference between
"Roam Freely in 75 Destinations" as provided by all the packages (A Classic O2 sim)
v
"O2 Travel Inclusive Zone" (avaiable on the 1Gb Volt pacakage and I believe the Plus/Ultimate O2 sims).
As per https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/volt
To my reading both the above are the same regarding roaming countries covered ?
I require EU roaming which I know is covered BUT also USA.

Travel Inclusive offers 27 extra countries and will give you roaming in the USA otherwise it would cost £7 per day

Thanks.
But Im sure that the "75 Destinations" already included USA ?
And if not do you have a list or a link to the "75 Destinations" ?
Im confused as I know the EU roaming is included as standard but there are not 75 countries in Europe.

The 75 countries = 48 in the EU plus 27 countries worldwide including the US
Having a problem myself connecting to any O2 websites atm

Thats what I thought which seems to contradict Enllis post above ?
My reading is that the "75 Destinations" is indeed the same as "Travel inclusive zone" which is why I posted my question.
Info on this is hard to find (yes, not helped by Azure outage earlier which hosts O2) !
Google AI says "O2's "Roam freely at 75 destinations" offer is part of the O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Ultimate, which is available on Ultimate Plans and allows you to roam at no extra cost in 75 destinations outside Europe. Destinations include the USA, Canada, Australia, and many more, with your home plan's data, minutes, and texts working just like they do in the UK. The offer also includes standard EU roaming, making it a total of 123 inclusive destinations. "
Which confuses me further 🙄

Now that o2 site is back ill add that this page seems to answer my question.
"
We’re the only major network that isn’t bringing back EU roaming charges for up to 25GB. Wherever you fancy going in our Europe Zone (40+ destinations), you’re free to call, text and use data just like you would in the UK, subject to a roaming limit.
If you're a Volt customer or you're on a Plus Plan, you’ll get inclusive roaming in 27 destinations outside Europe with our O2 Travel Inclusive Zone. This gives you unlimited minutes, texts and data roaming at no extra cost. If you’re on an Ultimate Plan, you’ll get inclusive roaming in 75 destinations outside Europe with our O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Ultimate."

I still cant work out what extra destinations you get in the Volt package, the descriptions they use need clarifying esp "O2 Travel inclusive zone" but all I need is EU and USA so ill be content.

@andydd68 - from O2 Volt page
On top of roaming in Europe as standard (up to 25GB – after that, you'll need to buy a data Bolt On), you’ll bag our O2 Travel Inclusive Zone at no extra cost, too. So, whether you’re hopping over to Europe or jetting across the globe on business, you’ve got the freedom to call, text, stream and scroll, just like you would at home, in 75 destinations worldwide – including the EU, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico and more.*
Info on the "O2 Travel Inclusive Zone", which comes on certain Plus Plans or with Volt:

And yes: O2 Travel, O2 Travel Inclusive and O2 Travel Inclusive Ultimate are confusingly similarly named...

Thanks.
The O2 Travel Inclusive Zone is clear it covers Europe (48 Countries) plus 27 outside Europe (inc usa) thus 75 in total.
BUT the Travel Inclusive Zone is only offered on the top Volt pacakage (1GB Broadband) all the others offer "Roam freely at no extra cost 75 Destination" but isnt this the same thing ? And if so why is it described in this way ?

Volt has only ever offered the O2 Travel Inclusive bolt-on, @andydd68 - regardless of the level of broadband service you have from VM, from M100 all the way to the top-flight offerings.
O2 Travel Inclusive Ultimate (130 destinations at last check) comes only with the highest class of O2 Tariff, the "Ultimate" column below: https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/all-tariffs
What's the difference between O2 Travel Inclusive Zone and O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Ultimate?
Our O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On covers 27 destinations outside Europe, whereas our O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Ultimate Bolt On, which is only available with our Ultimate Plans, covers 75 destinations outside Europe, including Turkey, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Thailand and over 20 Caribbean Islands.
I have not cross-checked what the VM website says accompanies its various offerings lately - perhaps they are similarly confused by the almost-but-not-quite-identical descriptions offered by O2?

I see the Volt website is now clearer and has changed the wording on the 250 & 350 packages to
Roam in 75 destinations (O2 Travel Inclusive Zone)
Which makes more sense, the 1 Gig still states "O2 Travel Inclusive" but thats close enough, so its clear the all the Volt packages are the same, roaming wise.
