Transmitter Mast Frequency

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello

I'm looking for some information on a particular transmitter, can anyone tell me if the transmitter at Benllech in Anglesey is 900 mhz only or does it support 2100 mhz for 3G?

I have tried searching on http://www.sitefinder.ofcom.org.uk/search but im not sure if the information is up to date, this is the info it gives me.

Operator Site Ref. 36141

Frequency Range 900 mhz

Type of Transmission GSM

Is this information still correct as according to the 02 coverage checker this mast supports 2g 3g and 4g is this all possible within the 900mhz band?

Thanks Pintglass

Not possible.
If it supports 4g it must have been upgraded.

The only way to find out would be to o2 coverage checker and look at 3G then if still available the option for other frequency the o2 map defaulted to 3G 900 not at PC cannot check if the options are on new version
