Do I report this as a mobile fault?

In Grantham today NG31 7ES (daughetr dragged me into McDonalds for coffee whilst christmas shopping) - I log in to the hotspot and get the acknowledgement web page up. Unable to connect to any other web pages though (fine on 3G).

Yesterday I used the network at a Subway in Nottingham so I'm confident my phone settings are correct.

Ta,

Better to report it to McDonalds as O2 don't have any control over it once it's installed....

@mi5 strange the venue faq https://www.o2wifi.co.uk/venue/faqs says "and we'll always be around if you need anything fixing. So you don't have to worry about connection problems. Just simple, free wifi for your customers."

Unless the venue have to ring o2 wifi support to resole the issue

Thanks guys, lots of info there.

@ademtemp64 - I looked on o2wifi.co.uk - Forgot about that, was getting nowhere looking on main O2 site 😞 Digging into the T&Cs (27) there's an email address info@o2wifi.co.uk. I'll try sending a fault report there and see if I get a response.

@MI5 - I also reported it via the contact form on McDonalds UK. I'll see if I get a response from them (I did remember to compliment the coffee!).

At the end of the day it seems to be a free service with a fair usage quota of 10G per month. WiFi used to be specified alongside the data on my mobile tarrif but there is no mention of it now. Presumably the paying customers as far as O2 are concerned are the venues and they may have some kind of service level agreement with O2.
