I don't know what is going on here and I'm not sure I believe it, but a thread has appeared elsewhere saying that O2 Webmail will be closing at the end of the year according to an O2 Web Chat advisor.
Maybe Chiara could check this out as people using this service may need to make other arrangements.

This could be of major significance to many customers. Come on O2, just a simple statement to confirm or deny!

This was raised on TBB and is actively being discussed on a forum which I dare not mention here. No doubt it's been raised on other forums as well.
It's now roughly 3 working days since you were made aware of this and I find your lack of response disappointing to say the least for something which could have a major impact on your customers.
Not forgetting that the removal of the email service will necessitate the removal of the email to mobile service which was sold as part of your broadband package. That to me is a major change in my contract to my detriment and obviously you know the ramifications of that.
So, a bit of clarity regarding this issue would be appreciated asap.

@ Chiara
As Livechat has stated it as a fact why is this taking so long? It should be yes live chat is correct or No livechat has made it up (yet again false info)
This is a yes no answer or has live chat let the cat out of the bag and o2 do not want the truth to be told?
