O2 Coverage and 3G coverage in Malmesbury Wiltshire

I work in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

We have a O2 signal but no 3G coverage. No one on O2 can get a 3G signal, regardless of device, business or private customer.

My colleague who sits one metre to my right is on Three and gets a 3G signal.

Anyone else here from Malmesbury have the same experience?

Any ideas how to tackle O2 on this mater?

Their site says the area is covered by 3G and there are no network issues. A message repeated by the call centre.

These issues in Malmesbury should hopefully now be resolved following Ofcom's seizure of illegal repeater equipment from a house in the area.

This was a week ago but I've only just spotted it and I'd been avoiding mobile usage whilst at home given the issues.

So not O2's fault after all then.....?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That took some tracking down, this illegal kit must be a pain for the networks.

It must but it does beg the question why won't O2 make their boost box available to any customer who is willing to pay for one

This morning 10th February 2014 - I have 3G coverage in Malmesbury and it is fast but the network coverage checker suggests there is no 3G here.

What goes?

It's possible that your local mast has been upgraded but they haven't updated that information on the website.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
