Anyone affected needs to report it then they can log the issue with the network team. They probably weren't aware of it when you spoke to them.

If your a business customer their is an option of a boostbox.
If not tugo is available to pay monthly customers that works off home broadband wifi.
Other alternatives are viber and whatsapp.
Try wiping your sim down.
Has this happened recently or have you always had issues getting 3g.
Improvements are happening to the network ref 4g rollout which will improve 2g and 3g.
This may be affecting you.
Try switching to 2g to see if things improve.

It's not my phone. The issue affects all O2 users regardless of device.
Customers of Three get a 3G signal from the same mast
Then have the person whose phone is affected call O2 and report the problem. If Three customers get a signal, it doesn't mean that the same equipment is being used even though it's the same mast.

I did advise the OP to get as many people as possible to report it. I think he was replying to BoB.

They are doing some work on the masts over the next few days. Hope that resolves the issue for you.
