Just checked the OFCOM website and the current O2 equipment is listed as GSM.
I assume that means not 3G capable?
Funny thing is, we got a 3G signal for three days in the first week of July. Nothing since.
No, there is a 3G service there but not a good one:

Very strange results this morning no 3g shown on status page and coverage checker map also shows no 3g either 3g900 or 3g2100 ? Coverage map updated today so perhaps the predictions yesterday were wrong.
Sitefinder database can be out of date.

I wonder if the network engineers are picking up reports of faults from the forum?
I guess they have shut it down for the maintenance that was booked for today.

When are 02 going to get this poor reception in the Malmesbury area which has gone on for several months now. I have spoke to 4/5 02 customers in Malmesbury in the past week and all are now considering swapping network provider when thier contract expires, me included.

Have you all reported the issue direct to o2?
But Knowing the hilly nature of the town and where the mast is at present I do not think it will change much. I have always had issues in the town when I have been there (had a business contact there)
O2 never comment on faults / repair time scales.
If you have phones that can use the o2 my network down load that and use it to report the issues

As Adam says above, to the status page http://status.o2.co.uk/
your local mast has a fault and they're aware and will be working to get it fixed.
Surely this isn't still down from October?
