Not recognised phone number

07842 323967 So this phone number called me and didn’t ring long then hung up and I called it back but it said the number you have called isn’t recognised?
It called me first so that makes no sense to me? Also no search history for the number on google

@Tilly3 Every chance in the world that it's a call from a scammer. It's not really a good idea to call back a number that you don't know.
My general rule of thumb is if I don't recognise the number, I don't answer it. If the call is legitimate, they'll leave a message. If they don't, I block the number. You might want to adopt that policy too.

It's just a made up number used by scammers to try to look legitimate.

Block the number and report it.
