I recently noticed a change in my credit file which showed 2 new finance agreements with O2.....I called customer services but they could not see any new activity linked to my name, address or account.
A few days later I received 2 default notices so I called customer services again and it appears someone has bought a new iphone in my name !! 😞 The fraud dept is looking into it, but they can take up to 10 days and the default notice says payment must be made before the 10 days is up....
Has anyone had this happen to them and how long did it take to resolve ?

Report it here too https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
It can take quite sometime for O2 to investigate these issues so don't expect a quick resolution.

I will to be safe, but I'm sure they don't have the account info.

@L0nd0n19 If they were able to hack your account to set up two new finance agreements, anything is possible. You should change all your passwords as an extra precaution too. Having seen what they're already able to do, you shouldn't leave anything to chance. That's how people's accounts get wiped out. It can happen in the blink of an eye.
