I know...my first thought was "scam" but the senderID is O2UK and the links look genuine. My wife has been trying these messages about an account needing payment for the past few weeks every few days but she isn't and never has been an O2 customer (currently with Lebara, previously with ID Mobile)
I'm going to try and navigate O2 customer services on the phone tomorrow which may be fun as I don't have an account with them, but does anyone know why she might be getting these messages?

To be honest it looks genuine to me
Possibly a scam but I think more likely ID theft or fraud
I'm not sure you will get any sense out of customer service without more information
Give them a call to see if there is an account in your wife's name, mobile number and address
Use the specific Payment management number 0800 902 0217
The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm
