Pretty straightforward but nonetheless peculiar. I received a text message containing an unknown mobile number (originating from that same number). Within a minute, the message had been replaced by a blank white space (no chat "bubble") with only the default chat head icon remaining. I texted "??" but no response.

A cursory Google searches seemed to indicate this number was on the O2 network, so perhaps just some glitch in networking.

Any explanation for this phenomenon? I've never seen it before.

I've done a bit of Googling and there are a couple of messaging apps that allow a text to be recalled too, but it doesn't give any indication as to what the recipient will see (or not), lol.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
